Publicity

Our Publicity Team works together with other teams to build our club's brand through various design and outreach materials.

"I make pretty posters"

Under Evangeline’s leadership, our Publicity Team has consistently contributed to our club’s growth, as the team’s various content creation strategies have greatly increased our club’s following and outreach within a short period of just one semester. Given her experience in kickstarting Happy Gappy Gap Year Podcast to build a community of students who embarked on a gap year before entering university, her vision for our future publicity efforts will be essential in further establishing our club’s brand and reputation moving forward. In addition, she is an active contributor to QueerNUS - a student community that stands for diversity and inclusion for the NUS community regardless of their sexual orientation and gender identity.

"Modern slave, magical worker"

"Modern slave, magical worker" - or so NUS Product Club Admin himself claims to be. As his name suggests, NUS Product Club Admin assists our Operations and Publicity Teams in handling administrative enquiries from our students regarding our various programmes - including PM1101E and IA. In addition, he assists in running our social media channels - including Telegram, Instagram and LinkedIn. Together with Evangeline, he now oversees the 3 sub-teams within Publicity: Social Media, Blog and Podcast - ensuring that our club's branding strategies are effective in securing long-term traction among our students and potential partners.

“AHHH LETS GOOO”

As an active student-athlete in TeamNUS Handball, as well as tennis and netball in NUS College, juggling her time is no easy feat for Arissa, in addition to attending her classes as a Business Analytics major. Nonetheless, she has managed to do so, contributing to our club’s post-event recaps and photography coverage during our club’s physical events in our first semester. For our second semester, Arissa will be exploring additional content creation strategies in the form of blog articles, with the mission to further cultivate prospective students’ interest in product management.

Live Laugh Love

Despite her lack of exposure to product management, Izzati’s experiences in her Innovation and Design (iDP) minor had inspired her to join our club to learn more about PM as a whole. As an all-rounder who juggles her time as both a sportswoman in NUS Silat and as a major in Data Science & Analytics, she has leveraged her past experiences in NUS Muslim Society to assist in our Publicity Team’s content creation plans for our first semester. Moving forward, she will be in charge of producing blog articles for our new club website, ensuring constant engagement with our followers to learn more about product topics.

Could be worse

Given his essential role in designing refining our club’s logo, as well as establishing our club’s branding guide, Anirudh’s extensive portfolio in marketing includes his recent internship stint at Samsung Electronics, as well as impacT (NUS) - where he conceptualised and designed post-event content recaps for this student club which focuses on public policy and social impact. For his next plans within our club, he will be co-leading our new initiative in exploring videography and audiography as a form of outreach, including a podcast series.

Keep on dreaming

As our club’s photography and videography specialist, Maverick’s expertise in publicity roles has been evidently prevalent - including as a Publicity Head for NUS Community Service Club (NUS CSC), where he led his team in conducting photoshoots, video coverage and designing promotional materials for Grant-A-Wish XX, one of NUS CSC’s flagship programmes. For our second semester, he will be spearheading our new initiative in kickstarting a podcast series on product topics, in order to boost our marketing and outreach efforts.

Seize the day!

Leveraging her past experiences in Google Developer Student Clubs NUS and Love, Bonito in UI/UX and product roles respectively, Jing Xuan’s specialty as a Communications and New Media undergraduate lies in prototyping and building our club website - which she has done so for the bulk of our first semester. In addition, her inputs in ideating our club’s branding guide has assisted greatly in our content creation strategies. Moving forward, she will continue to craft promotional materials for our upcoming events in our second semester, alongside her main role in managing our club’s website.

Capcut is love, Capcut is life

An advocate for volunteering, Sherise has often spent her time in various activities - including fundraising for Guide Dogs Association Singapore and mentoring for Youth For Causes Alumni Association (YMCA). More recently, she served as the Head of Publicity for NUS Arts Camp 2023, where she had to lead her team in producing both digital content and physical collaterals to maximise the orientation camp’s outreach to matriculating students within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Despite her previous publicity experiences, Sherise is looking to expand her technical expertise by contributing to our future audio and video content creation efforts, which will be something new for her to learn as a Publicity Team member.

I like veggies

Despite her background in Business Analytics, Jing Yun has pursued a wide variety of interests and activities during her time in NUS so far. This includes her membership in NUS Judo, as well as being part of the School of Computing’s (SoC) Freshman Orientation Week committee, where she assisted in the camp’s logistics. On top of those, she also currently works as a coding instructor at Kodecoon Academy, while having relevant marketing and publicity experiences in Canact and Syfe - both which will be relevant in her upcoming contributions to our Publicity Team’s efforts in drafting blog articles for our club website.

Time is precious, waste it wisely

Having spent her first year and a half studying Data Science and Analytics, Clara has made productive use of her time in NUS so far not just in academics, but also in extracurricular activities. This includes her regular attendance of our school’s recreational volleyball sessions, as well as her recent experience as Head of Publicity for NUS Science Camp ‘23, where she led a 2-man team in coordinating photoshoots and social media posts throughout the previous academic year. Moving forward, Clara will be in charge of producing future audio and video content, particularly expressing interest in producing TikTok videos and audio podcasts.

"I mean... sure???"

As a freshman studying Information Systems, Kay Woon’s interest in product management was first cultivated based on her parents’ experiences in project management-related roles. A self-learner at heart, Kay Woon has also picked up various skills in publicity on her own, including creating social media posters using Canva and video editing using DaVinci Resolve. In her free time, she is also active in various volunteering clubs, including her junior college’s Interact Club as well as NUS Community Service Club (NUS CSC). Joining our club as an additional member for our second semester, Kay Woon will be assisting our Publicity Team’s efforts in creating social media posts to cover our upcoming events.
